These Booking and Payment Terms explain how reservations are made and paid for on holiday-travels.com, and form part of our Terms and Conditions.

How a booking works

Once funds are received

Your reservation is provisional at the time of request. Dates are only guaranteed once full payment has been received and confirmed by us.

Payment methods

Bank transfer

  • Bank details sent after your booking request
  • Initiate within 48 hours
  • Always include your booking reference
  • Can take several business days to clear

Credit card

  • Processed securely at time of booking
  • Confirmation is typically immediate
  • No waiting for funds to clear
  • Simplest option for last-minute bookings

If full payment isn't received within the required window, we reserve the right to release your dates so they can be offered to other guests.

Currency, fees, and pricing

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the Site at the time of booking. Any bank charges, transfer fees, or currency conversion costs applied by your bank are your responsibility and are not included in the listed price. We recommend confirming these costs with your bank before transferring payment.

Damage deposit

Some properties require a refundable damage deposit, in addition to the rental amount. Where applicable, the deposit amount and refund conditions for a specific property are shown on that property's listing page and its House Rules section.

Booking confirmation

Once we have confirmed receipt of full payment, you will receive a booking confirmation by email. Please check this confirmation carefully and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are set out separately in our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Booking and Payment Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Booking and Payment Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
