Alghero Villa Marlena with pool for exclusive use

Villa Marlena is a peaceful, privately-owned residence near Alghero, perfect for a relaxing holiday by the sea with its own swimming pool.

It’s just a few minutes’ drive from the Bombarde and Lazzaretto beaches — two of the most beautiful stretches of the Coral Riviera. The villa is for the exclusive use of guests, comfortably suiting up to 10 people. For stays longer than a week, service and cleaning costs are calculated on a daily basis.

Spread across two floors linked by an internal staircase, the villa has 4 bedrooms (three doubles, plus one with two single beds and 2 extra beds available) and 3 shower rooms. There’s an additional outdoor shower by the pool, plus a gazebo with a table and barbecue. The living room opens directly onto the garden and pool, and the kitchen is fully equipped, with the washing machine located in a separate laundry area. Air conditioning covers the whole villa — two split units upstairs and one downstairs.

Large windows fill the house with light, overlooking the pool from one side and the veranda, lawn and garden from the living room. The villa sits within a large lawn dotted with olive and palm trees, and the private pool (16 x 5m) has a shallower end for children and a deeper section for diving, ringed by deckchairs and umbrellas — the whole villa and garden have been designed with young children’s safety in mind.

The setting is quiet but not isolated, close to the city centre yet surrounded by other villas that are lived in year-round. An open-air veranda with barbecue, table and chairs sits near the pool, ideal for outdoor meals, and there’s a fourth bathroom in the form of an outdoor shower right by the pool.

We leave guests plenty of freedom and privacy, while remaining available whenever needed — it’s a genuinely quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. A car is necessary for exploring the rest of Sardinia.

Tourist tax and a €500 security deposit (against any damage) are both payable in cash on arrival. Additional costs include a €10 per night pet supplement and electricity charged at €0.50 per kWh, totalled at checkout. Check-in is from 4pm, check-out by 10am.
