Our hosts were consistently responsive, supportive, and warm in their dealings with us. The natural surroundings and the striking beauty of the central Balkan landscape left us truly amazed.

Karashka exceeded all our expectations and proved to be an absolutely ideal vacation home. Nestled in the mountains where the panoramic vistas could captivate you endlessly, the property offers complete serenity and quiet. The residence features thoughtful traditional renovations and provides exceptional comfort for a memorable getaway. Hosts Maya and Kalin were wonderful, sharing recommendations for nearby walks and river swimming spots. Their assistance made our entire stay seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning.

Kalin and Maya skillfully restored the property, maintaining countryside character while incorporating contemporary conveniences. Both hosts demonstrated charm, attentiveness, and generosity, even installing a heater for our young child. The location near the Central Balkan Mountains offers spectacular natural attractions and blissfully avoids commercial tourism zones. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and city dwellers seeking refuge from metropolitan bustle. Our 9-day visit was deeply enriching, and we eagerly anticipate our return.

The residence sits in a tranquil setting that radiates calm and peace, with stunning vistas accessible from the grounds. The bedrooms offer exceptional comfort and cleanliness, thoughtful aesthetics, and all the essentials for a delightful visit. We strongly suggest this property and plan to return promptly.

Our family of five stayed for just two nights. The hosts were remarkably accommodating and supportive throughout. We regretted not having reserved at least 5 days to properly appreciate the landscapes, residence, and nearby regions. The home is a masterpiece brimming with historical significance and cultural richness.

Our three-child family spent 6 wonderful nights and wished we could have extended our stay. The property stands out—the restoration of the heritage structure combined with contemporary updates fosters an exceptional environment with authentic regional connection. After exploring the surroundings, we devoted one day to savoring the terrace and rustic landscape. Maya and Kalin are gracious hosts who shared local perspectives on Bulgaria. They kindly guided us—accompanied by their daughter—on a memorable wildlife viewing excursion that felt like a genuine family outing. Despite being merely 30 minutes from town, the setting allows genuine restoration and immersion in the pristine countryside. Highly endorsed. Distinctly special unlike any destination we’ve previously visited. We’re eager to return to Maya’s property.
