Chalet ‘Dolomites Cesa Del Louf’ with Mountain View and Terrace

From the chalet, an easy off-piste track — or a few minutes by snowcat/quad, for guests’ exclusive use — gets you onto the slopes of the Sellaronda and the Great War ski tour. On skis, you can also reach 3 of the world’s 22 World Cup slopes: Gran Risa, Saslong and Olimpia delle Tofane.

With the Dolomiti Superski pass, you have access to the wider Dolomiti Superski area — 12 ski zones and 1,200km of slopes. The Marmolada, the Dolomites’ highest peak, is reachable from Arabba on skis in about half an hour.

Snowshoes and sledges are available at the chalet — the sledges can be used on the private ski lift within the property’s own park, which turns into a large slope on fresh or groomed snow, or a night run (the only one in the surrounding valleys) or a woodland track, complete with slalom poles for timing your runs.

For cyclists, Arabba is an ideal base, hosting events like the Maratona dles Dolomites road race, Sellaronda Bike Day (roads around the Sella Group reserved for bikes), Dolomites Bike Day (the Valparola, Falzarego and Campolongo passes reserved for bikes), and Hero, one of the toughest mountain bike races in the world.

Surrounded by gentle pastures, plateaus and dramatic rock walls, Arabba’s central position in the Dolomites makes it a great starting point for excursions year-round — the Marmolada can be reached by ski in 30 minutes, or on foot in about 2.5 hours from the Arabba-Portavescovo cableway in summer.

A private heliport sits right in front of the chalet, with helicopter access to Venice (45 minutes), Lake Garda (55 minutes) and Cortina d’Ampezzo (10 minutes). Tennis players will find outdoor courts nearby in summer and an indoor tennis hall in Corvara, 10 minutes by car, along with a golf club in a scenic setting on the road to Corvara. Venice and Treviso are just over 2 hours away by car, with Padua and Verona around 3 hours.
