Villa Maison du Bonheur is a wonderful place to restore the spirit, feel welcomed and pampered, and reconnect with nature — somewhere to find your own inner peace while admiring the natural beauty of Sardinia.

Set on a gentle promontory behind the Cantine di Sella e Mosca, just a few kilometres from Alghero, this charming villa combines Mediterranean and eclectic style, making it a great base for exploring the Sardinian coastline and its traditions.

A brand-new villa arranged elegantly over two floors linked by a wooden staircase, it has three large bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with shower, one with bath), a large living room with big windows, and a striking kitchen with a peninsula counter. There’s a beach-effect swimming pool beside a large white gazebo, for the exclusive use of guests.

All three bedrooms, spread across the two floors, are doubles with air conditioning and windows overlooking the large garden — furnishings have been chosen down to the smallest detail. The infinity pool, set within an English-style lawn, is a genuine highlight. In the evening, dine under the gazebo by the pool or on the large veranda, scented with jasmine. Behind the pool there’s an outdoor shower and the large white gazebo. The villa has integrated hot/cold air conditioning, WiFi, a printer and a dedicated workspace for remote working.

Good to know: parking is available on the property; the pool is open from 15 May to 20 October; tourist tax is paid on arrival; a caretaker is on hand at the villa; excursions and professional holistic massages can be arranged; and there’s a small, friendly dog living in the garden. We give guests plenty of freedom and privacy, but remain available whenever needed.

It’s a short distance from Alghero, near the beaches, in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood — a car is needed to get around. Points of interest: 4.5km from Lido San Giovanni beach, 10km from Alghero airport, 150km from Olbia airport. Extra services available at additional cost include airport transfers, pre-arrival villa stocking, car and boat hire, wellness treatments, activities and excursions (book at least 2 weeks ahead), service staff (book at least 3 weeks ahead), a private chef (book at least 2 weeks ahead), and dinner delivery. Tourist tax is payable in cash on arrival. Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am.
