GARDEN ON SEA. A holiday home with a private heated pool, 700m from the sea, 1.5km from the town centre, and 2km from the port of Jard and Morpoigne beach. There’s an entrance, a living room with a lounge and dining area, and a mezzanine lounge.

The fitted kitchen has an American-style fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine, and a pantry has the dryer and pool robot. There are 3 bedrooms with a 140cm bed each and 1 bedroom with a 160cm bed, plus a small bathroom and a further bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a separate WC.

The private pool is heated to 26°C, measures 4x8m, is 1.5m deep, and is secured with a bar cover. There’s a terrace and a private parking space.

Optional services: a departure cleaning fee of €210. Other optional extras, payable on site and to be booked before arrival: a baby bathtub (€10/stay), a travel cot (€8/stay), a high chair (€7/stay), a bathtub (€5/stay), various bed linen kits (€6-16/stay depending on size), a bath kit (€7/stay), a home kit (€7/stay), a beach towel (€14/stay), plus additional linen kits at smaller supplementary prices, and a high chair or travel cot at €15/stay each. The property is professionally managed. As standard, cleaning, bed linen and towels aren’t included in the rental price unless stated otherwise, and pet fees may apply where pets are permitted. Only the equipment listed here should be assumed to be present, and EV charging isn’t permitted unless a dedicated charging point is available.

Jard-sur-Mer, a seaside resort, has everything you’d want for a great holiday: a picturesque setting, whether at the port with its sea-facing mill, in the forest, or in the marshes, home to exceptional flora and fauna. Stroll the marina for a breathtaking sea view, or sit down at one of the restaurants for a good meal — all in shorts, t-shirt and sandals. Whether sporty or not, plenty of water activities are available about 15 minutes’ drive away at La Tranche-sur-Mer, with its fine sandy beaches on the “Côte Lumière.” Nearby attractions include O’Gliss Park (7km) and O’Fun Park (10km) — a lovely holiday base in the southern Vendée.
