Maison du Bonheur is meant to feel restorative — a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and take in the natural beauty of Sardinia from a quiet promontory just behind the Cantine di Sella & Mosca winery, a few kilometers from Alghero. The brand-new villa is arranged over two floors linked by a wooden staircase, with three large double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bathtub), a bright living room with oversized windows, and a spacious kitchen built around a central peninsula. All three bedrooms have air conditioning and garden views, and the furnishings throughout have been chosen with real care. The standout feature is the beach-effect infinity pool set beside a large white gazebo, framed by an English-style lawn and reserved exclusively for guests — a good spot for evening meals by the pool, or under the veranda where the scent of jasmine drifts in. There’s also an outdoor shower near the pool, plus a fully integrated hot/cold air conditioning system, WiFi, a printer, and a dedicated space for remote work. Parking is available on-site, and the pool operates from May 15 to October 20 with a caretaker on hand; excursions and professional holistic massages can be arranged, and a small, friendly resident dog has the run of the garden. The setting is quiet and residential, a short drive from Alghero’s beaches — a car is recommended — with Lido San Giovanni beach 4.5 km away, Alghero airport 10 km away, and Olbia airport about 150 km. A range of extras can be arranged for an additional cost, including airport transfers, car or boat hire, wellness treatments, excursions (book at least two weeks ahead), staff or a private chef (two to three weeks ahead), and meal delivery; tourist tax is paid in cash on arrival, alongside a refundable €500 security deposit. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 10:00.
