Mimique

Attractive modern chalet, though reaching it involves a challenging route.

We’ve visited the Mimique Chalet multiple times with much satisfaction. Comfortably appointed with superb scenery and all conveniences. A vehicle is essential, and winter visits require 4WD due to the steep, narrow approach which badly needs maintenance. Ski access is available after a brief 10-minute ascent.

Mimique is an exceptionally sited chalet with excellent amenities where guests truly feel at ease. Rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are impeccably furnished. The evening sauna was particularly enjoyable. The road from town is quite confined and steep, and the final approach to the house is similarly demanding, though this presents no serious difficulty when winter roads are passable.

Stunning views and wonderful outdoor space

We’ve stayed at house Mimique several times before. The steep walk up from the village is something we’re happy to accept. The cozy house was in excellent condition this time as well. We did have to hunt around a bit for the microwave. It turned out to be stored in the garage.

Das Chalet besticht durch seine idyllische Lage und den wundervollen Ausblick. Die Ruhe ist erholsam, auch wenn es sich etwas abgelegen befindet. Im Erdgeschoss finden sich ein modernes Badezimmer und eine Sauna. Der Wohn- und Speisebereich erfüllen die Erwartungen vollständig. Der Zustand der Dusche im obersten Stock ist jedoch besorgniserregend: Schimmelbildung an Schlauch und Vorhang, verschmutzter Abluftventilator, gedimmte Energiesparlampe. Die Gartenmöbel befinden sich in schlechtem Zustand. Einige Geschirrstücke in der Küche waren nicht gereinigt.
