Quinta do Conde is a rural house that reflects the character of Boa Ventura, the Madeiran village where it sits, surrounded by mountains and nature — a good base for experiencing the island’s quieter, more traditional side. There’s plenty of outdoor space, including a lovely garden for relaxing or even practicing yoga. As with any stay on a tropical island, guests should expect the occasional insect or two despite regular upkeep, and some ongoing construction noise is possible nearby as part of Madeira’s broader development, unrelated to the property itself. Inside, the kitchen is spacious enough for a whole family, and the living room has been modernized for extra comfort, with free WiFi throughout (note that the property does not have a washing machine). Check-in starts at 16:00, with early check-in possible depending on availability; late arrivals after 22:00 incur a 20€ fee, rising to 40€ after midnight, and check-out is by 10:00, with late check-out possible on request.
