Saligari Villa with private pool & outdoor hot tub

What an incredible find. This place delivered everything we hoped for and then some, in a brilliant location. The living space was huge and really well laid out, and the bedrooms had large, comfortable beds with plenty of wardrobe space, opening onto a sun-drenched terrace with a hot tub and unbelievable views over vineyards, the sea, and the hilltop village of Pyrgos. The upstairs bathroom felt genuinely high-end, spacious and stocked with nice touches like bath products and slippers. The friendliest housekeepers came daily at a time of our choosing to lay out a feast on a long table by the pool, clean the villa, and swap out our pool and indoor towels — Greek delicacies, omelettes, yogurt, granola, bread, and fruit, tailored to what we wanted each day; we ate so much we didn’t even need lunch. The pool is cleverly shaped like a snail (the villa’s name in Greek), going from a shallow entry with steps down to a deeper section, plenty big enough to cool off and swim in, with loads of seating options from loungers to sofas to a dining table. Our concierge, Toni, was simply brilliant — he helped arrange and personalize everything from hair appointments to boat trips, car hire, restaurant bookings, and discounted wine tasting. Pyrgos itself is stunning and a short walk away, along with great restaurants, vineyards, and unbeatable sunsets. Just book it!

We had a wonderful week and every one of the hosts was lovely. We loved the daily breakfasts and the accommodation, especially the outdoor space. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week at Saligari, and the setup was perfect for us — close enough to walk into the edge of Pyrgos, but peaceful enough to feel away from the center. John was very communicative in the run-up to our stay, and Toni looked after us so well while we were there, offering recommendations and making bookings — genuinely helpful throughout. We were so pleased with our stay at Saligari Villa — from the quality of the accommodation to the attentive host and the fantastic staff. Tony handled every detail, from booking our catamaran to restaurant reservations, and Alex and Ella took wonderful care of us, with breakfasts fit for kings. If we ever return to Santorini, this is the only place we’ll want to stay.
