Originally built in 1800 and completely renovated in 2006, the house once served as an Austrian military command post thanks to its dominant position over the valley. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room seating eight, and a lounge, while the first floor holds three double bedrooms and three bathrooms; a separate annex (the Torre, or tower) adds another double bedroom with its own bathroom and small kitchen, bringing total capacity to 6 adults plus 2 more in the tower. The 1,500-square-meter garden has a gazebo with table and chairs, a Weber barbecue, a solarium with padded loungers, and a private 8×4 meter pool with panoramic views, plus parking and separate entrances. The area is rich with day-trip options — the abbey town of Follina, Cison di Valmarino’s castle, medieval Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano, Asolo, Bassano, and further afield Venice, Padua, Vicenza, and Belluno — alongside the natural beauty of Cansiglio’s woods and meadows, Lake Santa Croce, and the nearby Dolomites, an area also marked by traces of the First World War.

A lovely property, excellently maintained throughout both the interior and grounds. The terrace and pool offer breathtaking vistas across the landscape. Acoustic windows might enhance the experience.

Une semaine impeccable où tout était parfait : l’hygiène, les équipements intérieurs et extérieurs, et la vue remarquable sur les vignes de prosecco. Laura nous a reçus avec beaucoup de courtoisie et a tout expliqué de manière précise et compréhensible. La maison est à 50 minutes du parking de Venise, 40 minutes d’un centre commercial outlet, et 5 minutes des boutiques. Tout était en excellent état. Le seul point mineur, hors de votre contrôle, concerne le bruit de la circulation nocturne. Il n’y a aucun problème pendant le jour. Merci pour votre splendide maison et votre hospitalité.

Le gîte correspond exactement aux photos du site. La terrasse extérieure vous permet de contempler le paysage tout en dînant. Laura est réactive envers les clients. La vue est magnifique et l’endroit permet de découvrir de beaux sites environnants. Le gîte est à 5 minutes du village de Refrontolo qui offre une boucherie, boulangerie, petit magasin d’alimentation, pharmacie, café et restaurants. Deux familles avec quatre enfants ont trouvé toutes leurs attentes satisfaites.
