Villa Amoudia sits in a perfect location above the beach of Sivota, ideal for families with kids or anyone who wants tavernas, bars, and supermarkets all within reach without relying on a car. The home automation system offers high-standard equipment throughout, and each bathroom is finished with a unique mosaic. From the terrace or the pool, guests can watch the small harbor’s daily life — sailing boats, fishermen tending their nets — and a spot at the pontoon (just 2 minutes’ walk away) can be booked in advance for a boat. A small road climbing above the beach leads to the villa, with parking and a garage available, and a lovely courtyard with an olive tree welcomes guests in. Inside, a large bay window frames a shaded terrace with a summer dining area, extending to the infinity pool (8 x 4 m), a solar shower, and views over the beach and village of Sivota; a table with an electric barbecue sits sheltered under a centuries-old olive tree nearby. On the ground floor is a bedroom with a 160×200 bed and en-suite shower room opening directly onto the pool terrace, a bright living room with satellite TV and WiFi, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a further bedroom with a queen bed and shower bathroom, and an extra WC. The garden floor has a large twin bedroom (beds can join to form a 180×200) with its own bathroom, a desk, and a private sea-view terrace leading to the pool or the sea, plus a bathroom with a tub and a utility room with washer, iron, and board. A mezzanine attic bedroom above the living room has two twin beds. As with any rural Mediterranean setting, some contact with insects or small local wildlife is possible despite regular pest control. Minimum-stay requirements vary by season, and a daily environmental fee of €15 is payable in cash directly to the owner on arrival.

We had a wonderful time. Superb location, excellent host, charming property. Additional kitchen items were required and promptly provided. We encountered a few minor issues which were resolved efficiently. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A splendid contemporary villa offering outstanding amenities and a swimming pool with sweeping views across Syvota harbour. Everything is conveniently located within walking distance—restaurants, bars, and shops are easily accessible. Housekeeping twice a week maintains exceptional cleanliness, and the pool receives regular care. WiFi and television service are excellent. On-site management is available for assistance. Featuring two en-suite bedrooms, it’s perfectly suited for two couples, though it also comfortably accommodates young children in a bright, spacious room on the ground floor. This marks our third visit to Villa Amoudia and our tenth year enjoying Lefkada. We look forward to returning.

Recommend this villa. A welcome package containing WiFi details and dining and activity suggestions would have been helpful—Jerome offered an island overview upon arrival but it was difficult to retain. Be cautious of the unfenced terrace edges with significant drops; not ideal for families with young children. Otherwise, we concur with the positive feedback from other guests.
