Big appartement in city centre Amsterdam with 2 bedrooms all highlights 4 walk

The host Francois is outstanding and the property is wonderful. It’s not cheap, but the value is absolutely there. Staying in the loft was truly a memorable highlight of our visit.

Francois is a wonderful host who provided excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing. The place sits perfectly near transit lines and two market areas. Sleeping arrangements were quite comfortable, and the kitchen was nicely set up for preparing simple meals.

Francois, his wife, and son were incredibly warm and welcoming. The accommodation was outstanding. We enjoyed having a peaceful, centrally-located base that felt authentically local rather than touristy. One small note: my son found the hanging bed a bit chilly in January, though it would likely be lovely in warmer months. The spiral staircase is beautiful but demanding—good exercise! Overall, we had an amazing time, and the gorgeous home made our visit even more special. Everyone was so charmed by the swing we’re now considering one for our own places. Highly recommended for Amsterdam visitors.

I’m deeply grateful to Francois for his warm and generous welcome. I spent considerable time searching for the ideal apartment to host my birthday celebration with my family of five, and this place exceeded our expectations. We fell in love with the industrial-vintage aesthetic and the charming swing feature. The setting was wonderfully peaceful while still providing easy access to major attractions. Nearby you’ll find a restaurant, grocery store, and bakery, plus it’s a short distance to museums. Everything is reachable on foot, and we spent our three days exploring Amsterdam by walking, which we believe is the best way to experience the city. It was a fantastic gathering, and we would definitely recommend this place!

Our family of five enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this distinctive home! The children were thrilled by the swing at the entrance and the sleeping arrangements. Our teenager had his own semi-private area upstairs while our younger two shared a bed downstairs. The beds were supportive and we all slept wonderfully. The location in the business district meant a 20-minute walk to the main spots (9 Streets, Vondelpark), though we appreciated being near the Museum District, and there was a fun bar just down the street for evening outings. We discovered a charming bakery nearby as well. The street itself was serene and tucked away from the bustle. Finding comfortable space for a family of five is challenging, so we’re very grateful for this experience. Thank you, Francois!
