Our group of 11 gathered at this property for a family wedding, and it turned out to be absolutely wonderful. The setting was breathtaking, and the niece couldn’t hide her envy! Harri, the property manager, went above and beyond—he made sure everything was perfect and treated us with such warmth and humor. We practically want to keep him! Ana, our host, was the most welcoming person we’ve encountered. It was truly an incredible experience!

Absolutely Remarkable

This stunning property surpassed all our expectations. Nestled in a charming Greek village, it offers a serene escape far removed from the crowded tourist zones elsewhere on the island. When we gathered our loved ones to celebrate our wedding in Santorini, everyone unanimously agreed that staying at the Villa was among the most cherished moments of the celebration.

The arrival experience and overall communication were flawless. Harry was instrumental in getting our large party checked in smoothly and settled. Throughout our week-long stay, he remained readily available via WhatsApp, attending to our every need. Beyond his attentiveness, his warmth, familiarity with the island, and thoughtful guidance created an experience we won’t soon forget, and we’re deeply grateful.

The facilities were exceptional—the swimming pools, comfortable bedrooms, rooftop terrace, and generous bathroom facilities easily accommodated our entire group. The host’s thoughtful touches, like homemade pastries and special treats, elevated the experience even further.

Our host proved to be the most generous, welcoming, and gracious property owner we’ve encountered. Her support throughout our stay was extraordinary—from arranging our transportation and coordinating fishing trips to suggesting florals for the wedding, she consistently went above and beyond. The kindness and attention she provided made our time truly special. We look forward to hopefully meeting her on our next visit!

Our group of 12 family members had an incredible stay across the three villas. Everyone enjoyed having their own private accommodations, and the properties offered a distinctive character you won’t find elsewhere. Looking for an authentic Greek getaway beyond the crowded Fira and Oia scenes? This is exactly that. Anna’s support as a virtual concierge was outstanding—she made everything seamless. The main consideration is the 300-meter trek uphill to reach the property, and vehicle access is limited to smaller cars. We handled it without issue, though it might pose difficulties for some guests. Nearby, you’ll find convenient access to the local castle and traditional tavernas.

Our group of 14 family members and friends occupied the entire villa and found it thoughtfully arranged with plenty of room for everyone. The location was ideal, offering convenient access to nearby shops and services. What truly made our stay exceptional was Anna’s outstanding support and responsiveness—she was always ready to assist us with anything from meal arrangements to car and ATV rentals and any other requests we had. We’re grateful for all of Anna’s help during our visit! We’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway.

Wonderfully beautiful and absolutely delightful place to stay with our large family!

Our family of six had a wonderful experience at Canava villa during our Santorini stay! The outdoor pools were delightful, and we spent many pleasant hours on the patio enjoying the stunning views across to the historic village of Emporio and out toward the sea. The black beach of Parissa sits roughly 2 miles downhill and is reachable by foot or via a quick taxi for the return journey.

Anna truly stands out for her exceptional hospitality—she handled all of our transportation arrangements, organized a lovely private catered dinner for our first evening (which we’d definitely recommend), and shared wonderful suggestions for local restaurants and island experiences that were perfectly suited to our preferences.

One important note: the road ascending to the villa is quite narrow and only suitable for smaller vehicles or ATVs. Larger taxis have to drop passengers off partway down, requiring an uphill walk from there. While this isn’t a problem for most guests, anyone with mobility limitations should carefully consider whether this setup would work for their vacation needs.

The owner Anna demonstrated remarkable kindness throughout our stay.
Everything had been arranged in advance for our arrival and it all exceeded expectations (scooter rentals, car, restaurant reservations, boat excursions).
The property itself is stunning and tastefully furnished. The outdoor terrace is particularly inviting.
One drawback is limited privacy separating the various bedrooms (not apparent from the photos) across the 3 separate houses on the property.
Additionally, the pools are quite compact (too small for actual swimming) and this limitation isn’t clearly shown in the listing either.
