Set on the lower floor of an 18th-century house on a quiet street, the property has been impeccably restored, with a design that makes the most of its unique architectural character. The apartment is fully furnished, modern and private, just minutes from major museums, restaurants and cafés, with easy street access and its own private garden.
It suits up to 2 adults with 2 children. Facilities include a kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine (note that, due to local regulations, there’s no cooktop or stove). The bathroom has a rain shower, washer and dryer, hairdryer and iron, plus a separate toilet. There’s a spacious living room with a smart TV, a comfortable leather sofa and two single sofa beds, and a large dining table seating up to six. A separate bedroom with a double bed and smart TV sits on the quiet back side of the house, with access to the garden.

The space itself was clean and roomy. Throughout our visit, the host graciously provided breakfast featuring fresh bread, yogurt, cheese, juice and prepared meats. The location is truly superb. A metro station is within a short 5-minute stroll. Dining and shopping options abound in the area. A grocery store and wine shop are just moments away. It surpassed what we had hoped for.

This stay was exactly what we needed for our first Amsterdam visit. Maarten and his wife thoughtfully stocked the fridge with breakfast items including wonderful bread, coffee, and an assortment of treats!! The thoughtfulness throughout was impressive. Their location is simply perfect! Positioned several canals from the city center, it offers the ideal balance—close enough to explore but far enough to avoid the hustle. Very accessible for walking and wonderfully quiet, which we appreciated enormously. Bicycles are also available for your use! Highly recommend 🙂

A warm haven nestled among Amsterdam’s picturesque canals!
Wonderfully serene and thoughtfully furnished with all essentials across every space: kitchen, living room and bathroom. There’s even a quaint patio adjoining the lovely bedroom.

The hosts were wonderful, accommodating and straightforward to reach whenever we needed assistance. The apartment was spotless and offered ample room for our family of three. The area is secure and offers convenient access to the metro plus a neighborhood market nearby. Perfect 10/10 experience and we hope to visit again!
