Lovely property in an excellent location. Every major Paris landmark is within easy reach. The apartment lives up to all its descriptions, with independent air conditioning in most rooms. The owner, a gifted professional artist, has furnished it with creative flair. Claire Lavaud stands out as a remarkable host, delivering exceptional personal care—including fresh croissants and baguettes brought to the door each morning for our seven-person family. Claire is a considerate and attentive host. She carefully walked us through all the fantastic amenities. The four bedrooms provide wonderful space. The jacuzzi became our favorite retreat after full days of sightseeing. For those wanting a spacious and tranquil setting, I’d enthusiastically recommend this Vrbo. The metro and tram are conveniently located for getting around Paris. The distance from the main attractions is offset by the peace and quiet—just budget extra time for travel. For longer stays, investing in the Navigo Découverte Pass is worthwhile, offering access throughout Paris, Versailles, and Disneyland.

Spotless and well-kept, situated on the 3rd floor with no elevator. A bus stop and metro station are just a short distance away. Gracious hostess.

This was an extraordinary rental. We needed the extra space since we were vacationing with another family, totaling seven guests. The building comprises three separate apartments with shared facilities on the ground and basement levels. The owners reside in the building and proved wonderfully accommodating and attentive throughout our visit. An informative website provided extensive details about the rental and the surrounding area. Access involves climbing three flights to reach the apartment and two additional flights within it—great for burning off those French pastry calories 🙂 While not positioned near major attractions, the neighborhood boasts plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries, and easy metro access from just a few blocks away. Our stay coincided with significant city protests yet remained remarkably serene. The kitchen is modest in size but fully equipped and stocked with a Nespresso machine, French press, various teas, oils, spices, and more (take time to explore what’s already there). Excellent food shops and bakeries are nearby. All furniture is pleasant and welcoming, and the linens feel luxurious. The decor is creative and thoughtful (the proprietor is an artist whose creations adorn the space). A housekeeping staff member visited regularly to handle refuse and light cleaning—absolutely excellent. The master bedroom features an impressive motorized screen (offering Apple TV and streaming services) plus quality audio equipment connectable via smartphone. A Bluetooth speaker is also available downstairs. The rooftop hot tub accessed from the master suite was spectacular. Three separate levels each contain bathrooms with showers. The neighborhood park is charming and peaceful, complete with a swan pond. Should we ever need another large apartment, we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

We absolutely treasured our time at Claire’s residence. The full air conditioning was a lifesaver during those sweltering days and nights. The apartment contained everything we required, and Claire was always available to answer questions about operating various devices. Shopping for groceries, wine, and fresh baked goods was effortless. We should have utilized the bus system more—route 38 is perfect for getting around, passing near Notre-Dame and continuing to Gare du Nord!
