Upstairs, the living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchenette open onto a completely unobstructed, panoramic view of the Aegean and the volcanic islands. A veranda with a pergola faces the sea, perfect for meals and sunset watching, and the private pool also faces the sea, lined with teak loungers. Because the property sits at the top of the cliff with private parking right in front, there are very few steps to climb — about six in total — to reach the house.

The standout feature is undoubtedly the location. From the caldera to ocean vistas, the views are breathtaking. We spent hours by the pool with our books, soaking in the gorgeous landscape. Oia is just a 15-minute walk away, and the attentive, flexible host enhanced our experience. We cherish this stay and can’t wait to return.

The shaded outdoor seating was ideal for enjoying morning beverages with caldera views. Oia town center is roughly a 20-minute walk, though several eateries are conveniently nearby. A small shop for essentials is approximately 7-10 minutes on foot.

The property’s main appeal is its exceptional positioning and panoramic caldera vistas. Situated about 10 minutes from Oia, it offers ideal distance from the town’s hustle and bustle. Nearby amenities include a modest shop and excellent taverna with evening live music. Georgina furnished us with abundant planning advice beforehand. The scenic hike from Fira to Oia comes highly recommended—the trail runs behind the property. However, the villa shows its age with some upkeep concerns: toilet malfunctions, WiFi issues, kitchen and bedroom ants, and the pool wasn’t ready until near departure. Despite these drawbacks, the location and host hospitality make it still worthy of recommendation.

We spent a week at Oia’s Dream in August. The villa matched the description perfectly. Gina was so helpful organizing our stay. Between her ideas and tips from the guest book, we had plenty to keep us busy all week. Great location and the caldera views were amazing. Far enough out to feel private yet close enough to walk to Oia. We ate at the restaurant across the street, Santorini Mou, twice. Excellent food, reasonable prices, and wonderful atmosphere.
