Sun Beach Villa

Our group of 4—two adults and two young kids aged 5 and 7—enjoyed a spectacular getaway at this villa. Stunning property complete with private pool and outdoor terrace. The surrounding area is wonderful and provides beach access via a pleasant walk. An ideal spot for a serene, stress-free holiday. We plan to make a return visit.

Just a two-minute walk brings you to the beach, and the quaint village with its charming eateries and tavernas clustered near the harbour and shoreline lies only five minutes away on foot. Gorgeous views as you drive around and explore the surrounding region. A peaceful retreat for relaxation. We would certainly return. Thank you to all involved.

From our first moments we were enchanted. This villa is highly recommended by us. It was like a magical escape in an amazing location.

We just returned from a fantastic getaway at Sun Beach Villa. It’s a beautiful, immaculately maintained home with everything we needed. We arrived after dark and Andreas thoughtfully had wine, juice, and water waiting for us. The only sounds were the ocean and the calls of cicadas. Absolutely perfect. Each morning except Sunday, Andreas took care of pool maintenance. The location is excellent with easy access to both the beach and Polis. Our 5-year-old grandson had such a wonderful time. Ideal for those seeking a peaceful, tranquil vacation. We definitely plan to return.

This “Villa” is absolutely dreadful! We were 2 couples with 2 children aged 2 and 10. The place resembled a wildlife sanctuary. The bathrooms contained active bee colonies teeming with bees and wasps. We had to remove insects before we could bathe safely. Additionally, once evening arrived we couldn’t use the veranda due to a bat colony residing in the pergola. Bats kept swooping around attempting to fly inside.
Moreover, the “pool” is nothing more than a murky hole filled with stagnant water. It was completely neglected and not functioning properly. On day 2 I rang you requesting pool cleaning because it had turned green overnight. The team came and addressed it. By our final day, it was green once more. We therefore had 2 days without a working pool.
Strangely, your key instructions mentioned a code, yet the key simply sat in a box at the entrance with no protection, just a spider as a greeting.
Spiders inhabited the interior walls everywhere.
Almost all doors stuck and numerous lights didn’t work.
Truly unacceptable!!!
The other couple with their toddler left a day earlier.
I expect corrective action and a refund of our payment.

We rented the house (Villa No. 1) during summer 2021 for a few days. When we arrived at the property, looking initially just at the garden, we were appalled. The pool looked ancient and neglected, as if it hadn’t been repainted in decades, and looked nothing like the online photos. Paint was peeling everywhere.
The outdoor furniture appeared equally aged and deteriorated, utterly unappealing. The lovely loungers shown in the pictures were nowhere to be seen. Instead, we found 4 ramshackle, shabby loungers that nobody would want to lie on even with a towel. The garden didn’t match the images—it was clearly unkempt and grimy.
The rear patio area—the “barbecue section”—was simply disgusting and unusable. Refuse and litter had been tossed over the fence and left to accumulate there.
The interior is small and functional. The living room has two different sofa sets arranged consecutively. Broken items and aged furnishings appear throughout. The bathroom has a cabinet wrapped in aluminum foil, the mirror lamp fixture has a broken cover, kitchen cabinets expose electrical wiring, the upper bathroom drain is severely corroded, and the fridge is old.

One upstairs air conditioning unit (no cooling downstairs) barely worked but did function. Drying racks and pool towels—amenities in many similar properties—were not provided.
Additional issues included missing towel holders, zero dishwasher tablets, and a bathroom door with a hole, which by then hardly seemed to matter.
We reported these issues immediately to Agni travel, but they consistently redirected us to the owner in each response, despite being our contract partner. The owner arrived day 2, merely said “I’m sorry,” and blamed everything on the COVID situation. After extensive back-and-forth, we received a partial refund.
We tried to make the best of circumstances. But when we came back from an outing on our final afternoon, hoping to enjoy more pool time…
