Villa Amoudia – Luxury Villa right on the beach with Private Pool

Ein herrlich gelegenes, schönes Haus, nur 50 Meter vom Strand und etwa 100 Meter vom Hafen entfernt. Ruhige Umgebung, doch die Nachbargeräusche sind deutlich wahrnehmbar und konnten die Ruhe beeinträchtigen. Großzügige Raumverteilung mit ausreichend Badezimmern. Zwei der vier Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Untergeschoss ohne Ausblick. Bessere Matratzen würden empfehlenswert sein. Allerdings entschädigen der schöne Pool und die hervorragende Lage für diese Mängel.

We spent a wonderful week in Sivota enjoying villa “Amoudia” with Villas Thalassa in July 2014. The setting is outstanding and the property and surroundings are exceptional. We rented a small motorboat from the Stavros boat rental service and visited Skorpios and neighbouring islands—an unforgettable experience we highly recommend. One difficulty arose during a thunderstorm when the electrical system failed entirely, requiring extended time to restore full power and internet connectivity. However, the Villas Thalassa team were consistently courteous and supportive throughout our booking process and stay. Important note: while the beach appears secluded in photos, it is actually a public stone beach, requiring suitable footwear for safe water access. We would certainly return, possibly to explore one of their other properties.

We previously visited Villa Amoudia in 2014, and it remains just as magnificent. Ideally situated near the harbour with convenient access to Sivota’s dining and shopping. The property is immaculate and superbly maintained. Excellent communication throughout. We enthusiastically recommend it. Justin & Jenny.

Outstanding experience

Our time at Villa Amoudia was wonderful — it’s a superb property that provides all the essentials for a relaxing sunny getaway. The children were thrilled by the swimming pool and the nearby coastline. Syvota’s dining establishments are conveniently located within walking distance and equally impressive. We also enjoyed exploring various locations across the area, discovering plenty of beautiful coves in the vicinity. We’re looking forward to visiting again in the future!

The villa was delightful. Barbara is an outstanding host who made our arrival seamless and our stay memorable. She was attentive and even assisted with arranging a local experience. The property management was proactive with excellent pre-arrival communication. The villa’s design is light-filled and well-planned, with a beautiful garden overlooking the bay. The expansive pool is one of the finest we’ve experienced at a Greek villa and appears to merge seamlessly with the bay waters. The terrace and pool areas are generously sized. A word of caution: the infinity pool edge and the steep drop to the basketball court below pose a safety risk, particularly for young children who may climb on the pool rim. Aside from this concern, it was a wonderful experience at a beautiful villa in a stunning bay, complete with excellent dining options and a gracious, professional host. Highly recommended.

Our two-night stay left us wishing for more time. The location is stunning, offering views of the charming village and sea. Sivota is a delightful destination with excellent eateries and convenient access to some of Lefkada’s most spectacular beaches. Barbara was welcoming and provided valuable local recommendations. Impeccably maintained with all essentials provided. The pool is outstanding with a spectacular vista. This property is definitely on our list for a future visit. Grateful for the wonderful memories.
