Villa Paraiba sea view with exclusive pool

The compact villa is delightful, with charming period styling, an attractive outdoor space and modest pool. The spacious villa boasts a generous pool with 6 bedrooms and contemporary design. Beautiful expansive grounds, extremely secluded. We truly appreciated our time there.

The villa is spacious with exclusive grounds and ample parking. We made good use of the pool and enjoyed the outdoor seating area. The interior contains some well-used furnishings showing age and kitchen installations requiring repairs. Air conditioning is confined to just three bedrooms on the main level, leaving common spaces uncomfortable. Ceiling fans were provided but during peak summer heat the overall environment was quite unpleasant. The remaining three bedrooms in the basement receive minimal daylight and air circulation, resulting in a damp atmosphere with stale odors. Our host Giulio was reachable via WhatsApp but we never met him in person. Electrical problems disrupted the opening days, which despite not being the villa’s fault was frustrating given we’d paid upfront for electricity. Pietro, the maintenance and pool staff member, was present regularly and friendly, and assisted with waste disposal at checkout which we appreciated.

Villa Paraiba provided an ideal holiday getaway for our large group. We’d visited the region before and adore the location plus Alghero’s charming streets, abundant restaurants, cafés and ice cream shops!
The Villa sits far enough away to be quite private yet near enough for quick trips to town or nearby beaches in 15-20 minutes. A rental car is essential and the Villa has ample parking available. The Villa is spacious with all 6 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms positioned on the ground and lower levels. The upper level features a wonderful open concept dining and living area with access to the lovely pool and outdoor lounge. The views of Capo Caccia and spectacular sunsets were breathtaking from the property.
Pietro was present each day to maintain the pool and handle maintenance tasks. Giulio remained continuously available through WhatsApp with suggestions or assistance, consistently responsive and helpful. We wanted for nothing and felt exceptionally well looked after.
We would enthusiastically recommend both the villa and this destination. Our stay was delightful.

Our time at this splendid villa was regrettably brief, though we’re hopeful of returning this summer to relive those wonderful sea sunsets.
