This property sits peacefully on the island yet remains conveniently near Oia—just a 4-minute drive or 12-minute stroll places you at the heart of things. The resort boasts excellent amenities perfect for a leisurely day of unwinding. Staff members were wonderful, always smiling and courteous, and the rooms received thorough cleaning daily. Overall, it’s a fantastic destination that we’d happily return to.

The property was clean and well-maintained. We booked Villa Turkoise with 3 king beds, but received Villa Emerald with 2 kings and 2 twins instead—unsuitable for our party since one friend has mobility needs we’d specifically researched the villa’s layout to accommodate. A wedding party apparently occupied our intended villa. While the owner communicated reasonably well, we felt disappointed about not receiving what we’d reserved and had confirmed via email. To their credit, staff made adjustments by bringing in an additional bed, removing twins, and adding a mattress topper when the original was too firm. Upon inspection of Villa Turkoise, it clearly would have served our friend’s needs better. Kelly, the staff member, was considerate despite being placed in an awkward situation, and helpfully arranged a dinner, transportation, and covered our pizza until we accessed cash. The pools were refreshing and spotless, and the bar/reception area felt inviting. The villa had necessities for comfort, though the loft ladder is steep and potentially hazardous at night. The A/C performed well, and housekeeping visited daily to refresh towels and handle cleaning. For physically fit guests, this is good value, though the layout involves numerous steps and no ground-floor bedrooms. The rocky footpath to Oia is challenging despite being only 400 meters.

Excellent location within walking distance of Oia, though expect a steep climb everywhere. The villa was exceptionally clean and attractive. We’d suggest improved breakfast selections, perhaps with a premium option, and a wider selection of beverage choices onsite. The team delivered outstanding service and demonstrated genuine attentiveness. We’d certainly endorse Sunset Villas.

The staff was phenomenal, offering late checkout, luggage storage, airport shuttle service, and dining arrangements. They also coordinated vehicle rentals and various activities. The lodging suited our family of six well, featuring two ground-level bedrooms and an upper-level loft connected to the living area (though it can be noisy when others are present). Oia itself is spectacular but quite touristy, and note that you’re considerably removed from the main Oia area—expect a roughly 15-minute walk each direction with some cramped and uneven portions. The shared pools were lovely and well-maintained. There’s a poolside bar, plus the option to have food delivered from neighboring establishments.

Our first Greek holiday was unforgettable! Villa Topaz accommodated our group of five beautifully. Katerina surpassed our hopes by handling all our reservations with excellence, always securing premium seating and experiences. We returned each afternoon to a freshly cleaned villa with new towels—the housekeeping was outstanding. The rough ground path into town presented some risk for our younger children, but otherwise the location couldn’t be better. The property offers an unmatched sunset experience. We enthusiastically recommend Oia Sunset Villas to everyone.

During our four-night August 2015 stay at Villa Turquoise, our family of six (including four children under ten) experienced remarkable hospitality from the very start. Staff demonstrated genuine warmth before we even arrived. Katerina proved absolutely wonderful, offering island suggestions and personally arranging bookings. The villa received two cleanings daily—a thorough one each morning and a quick tidy each evening. The team was genuinely warm and regularly engaged with our children. We strongly suggest Oia Sunset Villas to anyone seeking Santorini’s tranquility while staying walkable to downtown, and to anyone wanting to experience those magnificent evening sunsets.

During our week-long stay in the beautifully furnished Topaz villa at Oia Sunset Villa complex, we enjoyed complete comfort including a private Jacuzzi. The manager was wonderfully hospitable and knowledgeable, providing excellent suggestions for island excursions, restaurant selections, and making reservations—everything lived up to the recommendations. The villa enjoys an ideal setting near Oia village, Ammoudi Bay, and Kathros beach. I’d strongly recommend it.
