Spacious Luxury Private Villa – Heated Pool – Ocean Views

Outstanding place to stay! Hosted two families including grown children, and there was ample room for everyone. The location was perfect for a quick walk to grab warm pastries from the nearby bakery each morning. While not budget-friendly, the experience definitely justified the cost.

The property exceeded expectations and matched the advertised images perfectly. The management was exceptionally responsive to all inquiries. Reaching Megalochori on foot was convenient and straightforward. The Winery Estate is an ideal choice for larger groups.

The host’s generosity and warmth were greatly appreciated. Santorini proved to be a wonderful destination, with charming shops and lovely cafes within easy reach. Unfortunately, the acoustics presented a significant challenge—every sound reverberated through the space as if amplified in a concert hall, making sleep very difficult. Adding to the disruptions were the unexpected nightly animal sounds: barking dogs, meowing cats, and crowing roosters. On top of that, the hot water supply was severely limited, allowing only one or two guests per evening to take warm showers.

What a privilege we experienced throughout our visit. The villa exceeded our expectations—it was truly magnificent and considerably more spacious than we’d anticipated. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and having animals like horses and mules nearby made the experience truly special. Our only challenge involved arranging for housekeeping to visit at least twice weekly to handle trash removal, which was necessary since toilet paper couldn’t be flushed. We also needed to schedule the pool maintenance team on several occasions. These minor inconveniences hardly detracted from the experience, as this remains among the most stunning accommodations we’ve ever enjoyed. The proprietor and property manager were absolutely delightful. The manager thoughtfully prepared the refrigerator before we checked in, ensuring we had delicious refreshments and beverages ready upon arrival. For anyone seeking an elegant villa retreat in Megalochori, look no further!

For our yearly sisters getaway, the Winery Estate proved to be the perfect choice. Megalochori’s peaceful atmosphere, notably more serene than other destinations, was exactly what we were seeking. The pool was impeccably maintained and got plenty of use during our visit. After spending long days exploring and sightseeing, returning to the comfortable, welcoming home was truly restorative. We also loved the convenient short walk to the nearby bakery and grocery store. Throughout our stay, our host was consistently thoughtful and accommodating. Our time at the Winery Estate was truly special and unforgettable, and we enthusiastically recommend it to others.

The villa was impressively spacious and gorgeous, with thoughtful renovations that spared no attention to detail in creating an inviting and welcoming environment.

Sarah, the proprietor, demonstrated exceptional knowledge and proved consistently responsive to any inquiry or need. Together with Petros, she orchestrated a delightful yacht excursion—a wonderful surprise arranged by our children—that proved absolutely magical. The southern reaches of the island proved equally as captivating as the celebrated areas of Fira and Oia.

Petros attended graciously to our every need and offered abundant local expertise. Following his guidance, several of us made the trek up to Pyrgos to catch the sunrise. My daughter jogged throughout the week to different locations and was thrilled by the distinctive landscapes she discovered. Everyone appreciated the dining venues in Megalachori, with the bakery being outstanding and one restaurant serving as an ideal spot for morning coffee.

The pool gleamed throughout our stay, and all of us took daily advantage of it.

A number of our guests completed the Fira to Oia walk and were absolutely delighted, with two even making the return journey on foot!

Persia beach was a highlight—swimming and snorkeling there was wonderful.

Panos, our driver, was always on hand whenever needed, consistently timely and tremendously reliable.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone involved in creating such a magnificent week beneath the radiant Santorini skies.

With a group of 11 family members, we had an unforgettable stay. The villa itself was absolutely charming and situated in a peaceful location, just a short walk from the delightful village of Megalochori.

The villa manager and host were incredibly accommodating throughout our trip, offering wonderful recommendations—particularly for dining options. Every room was adorable, and having access to the pool was fantastic.

We filled our days with sailing, exploring the Akrotiri ruins, watching the sunset from Santorini’s heart, tasting wine at a local vineyard, and discovering beautiful beaches. It was truly a spellbinding week!
