Originally built in 1800 and completely renovated in 2006, the house once served as an Austrian military command post thanks to its dominant position over the valley. The interior is classic Venetian in style, with elegant furnishings. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room seating eight, and a lounge, while the first floor holds three double bedrooms and three bathrooms; a separate annex (the Torre, or tower) adds another double bedroom with its own bathroom and small kitchen, bringing total capacity to 6 adults plus 2 more in the tower. Air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, a full kitchen with oven and microwave, a coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and a laundry area with washing machine, iron, and board are all provided. The 1,500-square-meter garden has a gazebo with table and chairs, a Weber barbecue, a solarium with padded loungers, and a private 8×4 meter pool with panoramic views, plus parking and separate entrances. The area is rich with day-trip options — the abbey town of Follina, Cison di Valmarino’s castle, medieval Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano, Asolo, Bassano, and further afield Venice, Padua, Vicenza, and Belluno — alongside the natural beauty of Cansiglio’s woods and meadows, Lake Santa Croce, and the nearby Dolomites, an area also marked by traces of the First World War.

Einfach fantastisch. Das Haus ist wunderbar, der Pool ist ausgezeichnet und die Kommunikation, Check-in und Check-out waren sehr herzlich. Ein großes Dankeschön an Bea für die ausgezeichnete Betreuung!

Wir waren die ersten Gäste. Leider waren Grill und Backofen von den Vorbewohnern sehr verschmutzt und unbrauchbar. Zu wenig Gläser vorhanden, obwohl Beatrice uns freundlich weitere brachte. Die Satellitenanlage funktionierte nicht und nur italienische Kanäle waren verfügbar. Ansonsten war die Villa gepflegt und wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Extremely clean and spacious with wonderful vistas of the Prosecco vineyards! Beatrice was exceptionally supportive, particularly after the severe storm—her team responded quickly to help and restore the damages. If we return to the area, we’ll book this house again. What a wonderful villa. The home is stunning and offers fantastic views. The town has a lovely bakery and café, plus several charming spots nearby to explore. Beatrice’s greeting was warm and friendly, providing excellent recommendations and assisting with restaurant reservations. Everything was perfect.

Gezellige woning, schoon en netjes in een prachtige omgeving! Mooie slaapkamers en fijn zwembad. Een auto is noodzakelijk om de buurt goed te ontdekken. Dicht bij een klein dorpse centrum met leuk restaurantje en kleine winkel.
